La Ca’Granda Wine Pair was born from the shared vision of Jeffrey Lumanglas, a Filipino wine enthusiast and skilled food & wine pairing hobbyist, and his sommelier partner, a wine expert with extensive industry connections across Italy.
While living in Milan, Jeffrey resided near the Ca’Granda metro station, a name that resonated with him for its charm and uniqueness. Inspired by its sound and simplicity, and as a personal tribute to the place where his wine journey deepened, he chose “La Ca’Granda” as the name of the company.
The CEO's growing love for wine, especially the rich variety from Italy’s many regions, and his culinary curiosity naturally evolved into a desire to introduce authentic Italian wines to the Philippines. Together with his sommelier partner, they built a company with a clear mission: to share Italy’s most remarkable wines, including hidden treasures not commonly available in the market.
