Nephila derived its name from a spider species that stands out because of its golden color and is most known for the strong webs that they weave– so strong they’re used as fishing nets and textiles.
As a small team of young and dynamic individuals, we identify a lot with the character of the Nephila spider. We exist to weave solutions for the education sector using open source technology, which is our core advocacy.
Our mission is to (1) provide quality Information and Communications Technology services and solutions to our stakeholders, (2) develop intangible products and services that would provide great value to people and organizations and (3) to collaborate with people around the world through Open Source Technology.
Since our establishment in April 2011, we have already delivered results for highly respected institutions such as The Department of Health, USAID, Assumption College, Don Bosco Makati, AMA Online University and thousands more through our various services.
As an affirmation to our open source advocacy, we are also proud to become the first certified services provider of the world’s largest open source learning management system, Moodle.
Recently, we also became an Amazon Web Services partner for evangelizing the education and government sector on the benefits of using cloud computing and providing related services.
In the long run, we envision ourselves as one of the most respected and successful e-Learning and IT solutions provider.
