Origin Story
It started with Jeremy Lang, our founder. He saw the damage that plastic was doing to our oceans while on vacation in Hawaii in 2008. Jeremy dared to spend years experimenting and found an alternative to plastic that could be used in everyday products. Pela was born. Now with Lomi, you can recycle your food waste into rich Lomi earth at the touch of a button.
