UBoT (Philippines) Inc. is a newly established wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong–based UBoT Holding Limited, officially incorporated in November 2024 to serve as the Group’s primary operating entity in the Philippines. The company is setting up production facilities in the Laguna Free Trade Zone, focusing on manufacturing carrier tapes—specialized packaging materials with sequential cavities and sealing cover tapes designed to protect semiconductor devices such as ICs, sensors, optoelectronics, and power discrete components during handling and storage. This strategic move underlines the Group’s “China Plus One” approach, leveraging the Philippines' competitive labor and logistics advantages to expand regional operations, diversify production bases, and enhance price competitiveness in Southeast Asia’s booming semiconductor packaging industry.
