Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized, highly communicative, and action-oriented Buyer to support the Organization in providing patient care second to none! The Buyer ensures that materials are procured in an efficient and effective manner, by processing purchase orders and MOJO tickets. This person will request quotes for materials that are needed in surgeries, standard materials for the office and building, along with other miscellaneous items. Additionally, the Buyer will build and maintain relationships with our Vendors in a proactive manner, follow-up on Purchase Orders, and participate in the full-cycle counting of inventory. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, have success communicating interdepartmentally, and are able to provide quality results while working autonomously.

Duties:

● Places and confirms purchase orders in regard to department standards and policies across the Organization multiple facilities

● Communicates with vendors as needed

● Follows-up on past due purchase orders and establishes action items when necessary

● Maintains inventory ordering for stocking locations

● Participates in cycle counting of inventory

● Ability to communicate on numerous multiple platforms (ie email, messages/emails, phone calls, etc.) in a timely and professional manner

● Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors

● Assists accounting with discrepancies

● Process MOJO Tickets

● Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

● Previous experience required; 1-3 years of buying experience

● Previous experience within a Hospital/Medical environment preferred, not required

● Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects when needed

● Willing to help team members out in a proactive manner as needed

● Ability to relate and work effectively with others.

● Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
