Job Overview
Xpress, powered by Cebuana Lhuillier, is seeking a Creative Lead with expertise in 3D modeling, motion graphics, and art direction to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Creative Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the creative direction of Xpress’s visual content, focusing on brand and product postings, promotions, product launches, and campaigns. You will play a critical role in enhancing the brand identity of Xpress as a ride-hailing leader, driving brand visibility, and strengthening employer and consumer engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in 3D design and motion graphics, with a keen eye for art direction. You will lead a team of marketing creatives, guiding them to create engaging visual assets that not only resonate with our target consumers but also reflect our innovative, customer-centric brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Strategy
- Lead and manage the creative direction for Xpress’s branding, including ride-hailing promotions, product launches, user campaigns, and brand messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure visual strategies and design concepts are aligned with business objectives, particularly in the competitive ride-hailing market.
- Develop creative concepts that capture the Xpress brand and appeal to consumers and partners within the transportation sector.
- 3D Modeling & Motion Graphics
- Design and produce high-quality 3D models and motion graphics for various digital assets, including promotional videos, social media content, and interactive media, all tailored to the ride-hailing market.
- Utilize motion graphics to communicate Xpress’s services in an engaging and visually appealing manner to enhance user interaction.
- Manage the full 3D design process, from concept to final render, ensuring all work meets the brand’s standards and is delivered on time.
- Team Leadership & Guidance
- Guide and mentor a team of marketing creatives, including graphic designers and motion designers, ensuring a high standard of design excellence and innovation.
- Provide clear direction and constructive feedback on creative projects to ensure the team produces impactful visual content.
- Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel encouraged to think creatively and push boundaries, while ensuring the alignment of work with Xpress’s goals and vision.
- Visual Impact & Brand Consistency
- Ensure all creative work is in line with Xpress’s brand guidelines, and that all visual assets maintain consistency across all digital channels (social media, website, digital ads, etc.).
- Oversee the creation of visual content that resonates with our customers, highlights the benefits of ride-hailing services, and supports key marketing objectives.
- Enhance Xpress’s employer branding by producing assets that reflect the company’s dynamic and innovative culture, and its commitment to making transportation easier and more accessible.
- Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer support, to create high-impact visual content that drives engagement.
- Ensure that creative concepts and designs are executed effectively and meet deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standards and consistent messaging.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest design and animation trends, particularly in ride-hailing and mobility, and bring fresh, creative ideas to campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, 3D Design, Motion Graphics, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within marketing, advertising, or digital media, with a focus on 3D design and motion graphics.
- Expertise in 3D modeling tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Autodesk Maya, and other relevant software.
- Advanced proficiency in motion graphics software, including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with 3D design, motion graphics, and art direction in a commercial or digital marketing context.
- Proven ability to lead creative teams, offering guidance and mentorship while ensuring alignment with brand goals.
- Deep understanding of art direction and how it impacts both visual appeal and consumer engagement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
- Familiarity with the ride-hailing industry or transportation-related branding is a plus.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in branding for the mobility industry or other fast-paced sectors (e.g., transportation, tech).
- Familiarity with interactive media design and customer experience in digital spaces.
- Ability to integrate consumer insights into creative campaigns, particularly for a ride-hailing or mobility-based audience.
