Reviewing the Financial Statements and analysis and other reports
Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of each business units
Provide Financial Reports with accurate highlights and analysis of significant variances for presentation to President for the monthly performance review and planning
Ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information to Company's business units and support groups
Develops, implements and maintains sound Finance Policies and Procedures
Leads the preparation of Finance department annual strategic plans, including implementation, monitoring and completion of action plans and corrective actions for unmet targets
Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data, issues and concerns and recommend and/or implement solutions thereof
Manage the preparation of Inventory Count Schedule of all Dermclinic branches and head office
Reviewing NIAT for Sales and Marketing Promotions
Prepares Budget, including capital budgeting by providing all BU's and departments with budget templates and assumptions for uniform application
Initiates and conduct budget hearing and deliberation
Submits budget package with assumptions to President for the whole group within set deadline
Reports on monthly variances from estimated budget and reasons for variance
Forecasts cash flow positions of the company and ensure enough funds are available with the company for the future
Helps on taking decisions related to equity and debt, finance and investment of fund
Forecasts cash flow position related to borrowing needs and available funds for investment
Manages available fund to meet operational and capital investments
Reviewing Settlement Plan for Suppliers with pending unpaid balances
Reviews processed Check Vouchers and details on checks prior to forwarding to President
Reviewing the weekly Cash Flow
Reviews/ Validating the Aging of Accounts Receivable per month
Checking Sales vs. Collection per month
Reviewing the Collection report and other necessary deduction needed for reporting purposes
Approved weekly activity report indicating the status of uncollected accounts and results of visits to customers
Reviews Collection effectiveness and implement ways and procedures to ensure timely collection of accounts
Monitors and analyzes the performance of each Finance personnel and reviews various daily activities
Develops and implements training plan based on competency-based assessment
Handles Internal Personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
Updates Knowledge, skills and develop competence through participation in various education/training opportunities
Provides inputs into goal setting of the department
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance Management or any related field. Units in MBA or graduate program in any of the undergraduate courses cited above will prove to be an advantage
At least ten (10) years of working experience
Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite especially MS Excel
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Willing to be assigned in Makati City
