Role Description

This is a full-time role for a General Ledger Accountant in BGC, Taguig. The General Ledger Accountant will maintain and reconcile the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Additional tasks include ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, assisting with audits, and performing variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end closing processes
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and variance analysis skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred
