The Mold Finishing Specialist is responsible for the final finishing, fitting, and polishing of plastic injection molds to ensure high-quality surface finishes and dimensional accuracy. This role plays a critical part in preparing molds for production and ensuring they meet customer and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hand-finishing, polishing, and fitting of mold components using tools such as files, stones, sandpaper, and polishing machines.
• Inspect and verify mold surfaces for defects such as scratches, tool marks, or dimensional inconsistencies.
• Work closely with mold designers and toolmakers to ensure proper fit and function of mold assemblies.
• Conduct trial fitting and adjustments of mold components to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and precision of mold surfaces, especially for high-gloss or optical-grade parts.
• Document finishing processes and maintain records of modifications or adjustments.
• Support mold trials and assist in troubleshooting surface-related issues during sampling.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Mold Finishing Specialist, preferably in a plastic manufacturing environment.
• He or she has their own car or motorcycle
• No experience working at a company with a union organization

• Support departments like Admin, PPC, etc. is Mon to Fri with 2 Sat work (they have a company calendar)
• 8am to 6pm (Mon to Thurs)
• 8am to 5pm (Fri)
• 8 am to 12 pm (Sat)
