We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports. This role requires a high level of organizational skills and proficiency in accounting software.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update client financial records using accounting platforms
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts; resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports tailored to client needs
  • Support budgeting and cash flow planning, including variance analysis and forecasting
  • Handle multi-state payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Monitor client cash flow and prepare cash flow statements and liquidity analyses
  • Assist with audits, financial inspections, and due diligence requests
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure security of sensitive financial information
  • Provide administrative and operational support related to entity management, insurance, and compliance
  • Proactively identify process improvements or risk factors in client finances


Qualification and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not always required with strong experience)
  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or business management experience (entertainment, high-net-worth, or multi-entity preferred)
  • In-depth understanding standard financial processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask across a wide range of client-specific financial activities
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Knowledge of payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, CAPS) and experience with 1099s, W-2s, and quarterly filings
  • Familiarity with multi-entity structures, trusts, LLCs, and entertainment-industry-specific financial requirements (if applicable)
  • Able to work independently while managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Not required, but prefer understanding and/or experience with Musical Touring accounting and practices


Non-Negotiable Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (AgilLink, Restaurant365) and Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or executive support role 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting finance functions (Xero preferred) 
  • High computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel – intermediate to advanced) 
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication 
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
