Keterangan
- Coordinating and tracking shipments to ensure they arrive safely and on time.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory, including monitoring the condition and quantity of items.
- Communicating with suppliers, retailers, customers and transport companies to resolve issues and facilitate the logistics process.
- Assisting in the development of logistics strategies to improve cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate daily T&D shipment data with the Production group, and assist with daily reconciliation of ship, truck, barge and railcar shipments & receipts for production reporting purposes.
Persyaratan
- Complete a bachelor degree in operational management, business management, engineering, or related field.
- Gain experience in logistics through internships or part-time work.
- Consider getting certification such as the Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate from The Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport.
- Continuing education and added credentials can lead to promotion to Logistics Manager.
- Ability to prioritize and balance personal and team goals.
- Have a basic knowledge of relevant legislative (environmental, health/safety) requirements.
