• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Preferable with work experience in shipping line industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Solid finance, controlling and accounting professional with a good commercial / business acumen particularly in shipping and forwarding industry
• Solid background and experience in controlling positions, cost analysis, business profitability
• Experience in Handling BIR matters and other government reportorial related to accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Iris - Accounting Software) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Tech Savy: Gmail Suits and Office, Microsoft Office, Outlook

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Finance Staff
• Daily, Weekly and Financial Reporting
• Handle BIR Matters such as VAT, EWT, Tax Compensation, Income Tax Return, BIR clearances and Letter of Authority
• Prepares Interim Financial Statement for Banks and Internal Financial Statement
• Prepares Annual Financial Statement in coordination with the External Auditors
• Prepared Weekly / Monthly Financial Report
• Attend to SEC Matters – as may required
• Prepares reports of Load Manifest vs QB Imported Final Checking
• Other task that maybe assigned such as but not limited to cost analysis for vessel income, cost to operate for each vessel and Annual and Interim Report for Bank Purposes.
