• The Company Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, managing financial records, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making

Key Responsibilities:

 1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide reports to management.
• Conduct variance analysis and suggest corrective actions.

 2. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Prepare and manage the company’s budget.
• Develop forecasts and financial models.
• Monitor budget adherence and report deviations.

 3. Accounts Management

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing.

 4. Tax and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, corporate tax).
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.

 5. Internal Controls and Risk Management

• Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

 6. Payroll and Employee Payments

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure statutory deductions are made.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and benefits administration.

 7. Liaison and Coordination

• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and consultants.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (typically 3–5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
