Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, job costing, and accounting processes to ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role plays a critical part in managing project cost tracking, financial reporting, payroll coordination, and compliance functions, particularly within the construction industry.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions using the double-entry accounting system.

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Analyze and interpret job cost data to track project costs, profitability, and overall financial performance.

• Manage and reconcile banking transactions to ensure proper cash flow management.

• Coordinate payroll processing with external payroll providers and ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems.

• Oversee invoice entry, maintain up-to-date bookkeeping, and manage client billing processes.

• Calculate and manage local tax payments such as F&E and Business taxes.

• Handle paperwork related to new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments.

• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits, including insurance audits.

• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO, supporting financial planning and decision-making.


Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting, financial management, or construction-related finance operations with a strong understanding of job cost accounting.

• At least one (1) to two (2) years of supervisory experience.

• Must have a stable employment history

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and financial management best practices.

• Experience with accounting software, preferably those used in construction or job-costing environments.

• Ability to assess complex financial data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to convey financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Work Condition:

  • 8pm - 5am Philippine Time, Monday-Friday
  • Work From Home (Any Philippine Sites)
