1. Operational Oversight
- Supervise daily field operations related to solar PV system installation, maintenance, and servicing
- Coordinate and assign tasks to technicians and installation teams based on project timelines and service schedules
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to company standards, industry codes, safety policies, and client specifications
- Monitor project progress and report delays or issues to management for prompt resolution
2. Team Supervision and Support
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance of technicians and crew members
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and technical updates with the operations team
- Assist in training new staff and ensuring continuous skills improvement of the workforce
- Schedule manpower and field deployment to ensure effective resource allocation
3. Maintenance Management
- Oversee routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of installed solar PV systems
- Coordinate with monitoring teams or system alerts to prioritize maintenance visits and troubleshooting
- Review maintenance logs and generate reports on system performance and recurring issues
- Ensure all service and maintenance activities are documented accurately and timely
4. Installation Management
- Supervise site preparation, layout, system mounting, panel installation, and electrical integration
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used on-site
- Conduct on-site inspections during and after installation to verify quality and compliance
- Communicate with engineering or design teams for any site-specific adjustments or modifications
5. Safety and Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards (e.g., PPE, fall protection)
- Conduct periodic site audits and risk assessments
- Maintain documentation for incident reports, safety drills, and compliance logs
- Stay updated with solar industry regulations and best practices
6. Client and Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during installation and maintenance activities in the absence of the Operations Manager
- Address and resolve client complaints or inquiries promptly and professionally
- Provide updates and progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support in post-installation walkthroughs, handover, and client training
7. Inventory and Equipment Control
- Monitor and manage inventory of solar materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for replenishment and logistics
- Ensure proper care, storage, and calibration of tools and testing equipment
8. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, job orders, system checks, and corrective actions
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports to management
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, O&M reports, and project completion records

- At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience in the solar energy or electrical industry
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in field operations or project execution
- Hands-on experience in solar PV system installation, commissioning, operation, and preventive/corrective maintenance
Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical components, and installation standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans
- Familiar with tools, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, IV curve testers), and safety gear used in solar work
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in both grid-tied and off-grid solar systems

- Willing to travel to project sites, including provincial locations
- Valid driver’s license is a strong advantage
