As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible in handling the following:


1. Assists in the daily processing, updating and analysis of the following financial reports and operations statistics.

a. Financial Statement

b. Balance Sheet

c. Cash Flow

d. Monthly KRA

e. Operations Statistics

f. Budget Monitoring

2. Assists in collecting and checking of data for the preparation and analysis of financial reports such as but not limited to Financial Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Operations Statistics of the entire Ayala Malls Group including property management and non-retail businesses.

3. Assists in collating and checking of liquidations and documentation for budget reconciliation.

4. Assists in the preparation of detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results.

5. Assists in the review of operations statistics and provides sound recommendations for new cost saving initiatives and projects.

6. Assists in the review and evaluation of previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets.

7. Prepares and submits the following reports on a regular basis:

a. Financial data

b. Operations Statistics data

c. Liquidation

8. Performs other management mandated functions.


Qualifications for this position include:


  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management and or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year proven extensive work experience as a Finance Specialist in retail and property management industries
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Word, Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio as well as other specialized software like SAP or Oracle
  • Above Average proficiency level n oral and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation, facilitation, and training all levels of the organization
  • Deals with complex problems and tasks wherein decisions or tasks are planned, delegated, coordinated, or implemented or any combination of these.
  • With average proficiency level in people management and leadership
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, finance, and business environments
