Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
I. MANAGING & MONITORING
Ensures that all plant equipment and machineries are in good working condition.
Delegates and control work assignments to maintenance employees.
Implements preventive maintenance programs being scheduled.
Gives recommendation for repairs of major and minor parts of the machineries and equipment.
Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
Monitoring of Meralco power for power failure.
Recommends, prepare and implement projects that improves operations process such as acquisition and installation of additional machineries and termination of old and reliable equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and repairs of machines.
Submission of Monthly Reading Electricity Consumption.
Submission of Monthly Machine & Mold Downtime.
II. LEADING & TRAINING
Motivates and inspires self-confidence of subordinates, coaches them and counsel them in order to build teamwork and establish report towards positive results.
Instills discipline among subordinates and gives disciplinary actions to those who violates the company rules and regulations.
Review Maintenance Personnel performances and provides feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Effectively trains and develops subordinates to enhance their competencies to full potential for short term to medium and long term operations of the company.
III. MINOR RESONSIBILITIES
Ensures proper housekeeping of the plant.
Monitor stock level of spare parts.
Recommends, coordinates with purchasing unit on purchases of local and imported spare parts.
Provides assistance to production regarding engineering/ maintenance capabilities.
Performs instrument/ gauge calibration.
Perform other task that maybe assigned from time to time.
