Research Analyst (Philippines – CEIC)

Job Description

• Maintain and enhance the quality and coverage of in-house economic databases.
• Data mining and expansion on the coverage of our in-house economic database.
• Implement and adhere to in-house pre-set measures of quality assurance and quality control.
• Understand and have strong responsibilities on own job scope and tasks or projects assigned.
• Attend to clients’ queries and close cooperation with client servicing team and with official data issuing sources.
• Ensure high quality of our products.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance.
• Well-versed in English (both verbal and writing) is a must.
• A relevant network of contact with official data issuing sources is an advantage.
• Candidate with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in macroeconomic research and/or database is preferred.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Hybrid Work Arrangement - willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig for 2-3 days a week. The candidate should be able to work from home with a stable internet connection.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Good command of PC and spreadsheet application
• Solid knowledge of macroeconomic statistics, familiarity with EMEA economy, and strong data sense are an advantage.
• Numerate, analytical and rigorous attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, be independent, love challenges, and able to work under pressure.
• Possess good problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

Working Hours

• Regular shift 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm
