Responsible for the design and development of new product development, product & process improvement, cost optimization and product maintenance initiatives
Records all trial results (e.g. product/process proposal specifications; documentation of formulation, etc)
Establish standards and specification of raw and packaging materials, and finished goods.
Maintain product specifications and product costing information on file ensuring that it is consistent, accurate and up-to-date
Accredit suppliers of raw and packaging materials.
Establish procedure in making the product.
Simplify and improve existing process.
Determine and establish storage, handling requirements and shelf life.
Conduct sensory evaluation and consumer survey for newly developed products.
Communicates effectively cross-functionally and across diverse levels within and outside the organization
Coordinates with the Sales Division and its customers, on long-term market focus and related product opportunities
Monitors government regulations to ensure label and formulation compliance
Assess technical feasibility of concepts and confirm operational compatibility
Responsible for completing technical reports/presentations of various R&D activities
Determines and recommends product usage information including serving suggestions, cooking instructions, nutritional information and possible product claims
Provides product labeling information and prepares the necessary documentation to aid government approval process
Supports in the identification of new product opportunities and creating solutions to drive performance
Prepare competitive monitoring report and make necessary conclusions and recommendations

Education: Graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemical Engineer, BS Chemistry
Work Experience: 3 years experienced as R&D in a food manufacturing set up

D. Job Expertise:
Strong food science and process fundamentals, Strongly Analytical and Detail-Focused, Team Player, Good Research and Writing Skills, Problem-Solving, Excellent Interpersonal and Oral Communication Skills, knowledgeable of GMP and HACCP
E. Technical Skills:
Technical Report Writing, and Proficient with MS Office especially Word and Excel and Gmail.
