- A Flatbed Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting cargo on an open, flat trailer using a flatbed truck.
- They load and unload cargo, ensuring it's secured properly for transit.
- They also maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage, and communicate with dispatchers and customers
職位要求
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a primary requirement.
- This typically involves passing written and driving tests.
- Beyond the CDL, a clean driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, and some employers also require flatbed driving experience or knowledge of cargo securement techniques.
