The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls. This role also plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable standards
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, tax reporting, and month- and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts; monitor variances and report findings
• Prepare financial planning and analysis activities
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a degree in Accountancy
• With 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting in a managerial role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
