Cathoven is an AI tutor for English exam preparation, used by more than 1.2 million IELTS learners worldwide. Our AI scoring engine is built on more than ten years of real exam data and matches human examiners 98% of the time. We cover all four IELTS skills, listening, reading, writing and speaking, with instant and detailed feedback. Language teachers at Columbia, Berkeley and Cambridge use Cathoven with their students. We are cited in more than 50 academic papers, and QS ranked us the second-best AI in education project in the world, after Duolingo. We are a small, fully remote team working across four continents, and everything runs in English. We hire directly rather than through agencies, and we pay in USD.
