RGF Job Title: Customer Development Manager - HORECA

Location: Sucat, Parañaque
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Director
Role Type: Team Lead
Salary Range: ₱60,000 – ₱80,000 (Monthly)


Responsibilities

The Customer Development Manager (CDM) is responsible for leading and driving customer growth strategies across the General Trade (HoReCa) and Food Service Restaurants (FSRs) channels. This role oversees key accounts such as Bistro Group, Moment Group, Andok’s, and other local restaurant chains, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, strategic partnerships, and long-term customer value.

As a team lead, the CDM will manage customer development initiatives, optimize sales operations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, customer business planning expertise, and the ability to create and execute joint business plans with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead customer development strategies for the HoReCa and FSR channels to achieve sales, distribution, and volume targets.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts such as Bistro, Moment Group, Andok’s, and other local restaurant chains.
  • Develop and execute Customer Business Plans and Joint Business Plans (JBP) aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee demand and sales forecasting by working closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure accurate projections.
  • Analyze business performance using data-driven insights; utilize AI tools when applicable for forecasting and strategy optimization.
  • Manage account negotiations, commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring effective sales execution and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address supply issues, product availability, and customer service concerns.
  • Prepare regular reports, performance reviews, and strategic updates for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade guidelines, and commercial standards.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in Sales, Customer Development, Key Account Management, or a related role.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience managing accounts in General Trade (HoReCa) and/or FSR channels.
  • Strong background in Customer Business Planning and Joint Business Planning (JBP).
  • Solid understanding of demand forecasting and Demand Planning processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience using AI tools or data-driven platforms for forecasting, analysis, or business insights.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with major restaurant chains or food service accounts.
  • Background in FMCG, food service distribution, or consumer goods industries.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving commercial environment.
