About the Role


The Account Officer is responsible for soliciting new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and ensuring that all accounts are managed efficiently to meet marketing, credit, and profitability objectives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Solicit new customers of acceptable credit quality and generate new business from existing clients.
  • Manage and expand an existing customer portfolio to achieve business goals and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure adherence to company credit standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver quality service and tailored financial solutions to clients.
  • Conduct regular client visits and participate in fieldwork activities as required.


Qualifications


  • Graduate of Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or any related course.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in account management, preferably from the banking, leasing, or finance industries.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent presentation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willing to work on-site with occasional fieldwork assignments.
