The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely invoicing and collection tracking, and supporting daily and monthly accounting operations. This includes handling transactions in Peachtree and One System for multiple brands, filing documentation, and generating reports.

Sales & Collection Recording:

• Record daily sales transactions for the brands using Peachtree.
• Record daily collections and update corresponding Excel reports.
• Update and maintain the Daily Sales Report.
• Issue and print sales invoices via One System and Peachtree.

Accounts Receivable & Reconciliation:

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and posted.
• Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or client-related issues.

Invoicing & Documentation:

• Issue and print service invoices for the brands using Peachtree and One System.
• File service invoices with attached repair orders and payment receipts.
• File all sales invoices and payment requests (PRs) from Peachtree and One System.
• Prepare and file documents related to unit releases and ensure all requirements for commissions and incentives are complete.

Billing Checks & Reporting:

• Check billing accuracy for After-Sales Department (ASD), including parts and insurance.
• Verify ASD payments and issue corresponding Collection Receipts (CR).
• Generate VAT reports for Sales, Parts & Services, and Collection transactions.

Accounting Support:

• Assist with various accounting-related tasks as assigned by the department.
• Provide support during audits and monthly closings, as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in automotive or dealership industries.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and standards.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation processes. 
• Knowledge of VAT reporting and related tax documentation.
• Experience working with accounting software such as Peachtree (Sage 50) and dealership systems like One System.
• Awareness of dealership operations, particularly in sales, parts, and service billing (automotive industry experience is a plus).
