What You’ll Do:

The Accounting Associate is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor management, and financial reporting. This role requires meticulous attention to detail in coding invoices, verifying approvals, reconciling accounts, and managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and chargebacks, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.

• Code invoices to the correct GL accounts for financial tracking.

• Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) for approval before payment.

• Enter credit card receipts and financial transactions into the accounting system.

• Reconcile monthly statements with the general and vendor ledgers, resolving discrepancies.

• Manage vendor accounts and ensure accurate payment processing in platforms like Tipalti and Ramp.

• Address vendor inquiries, prepare weekly aging reports, and issue 1099 forms at year-end.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable experience.

• Associate degree in accounting preferred but not required.

• 2+ years accounts payable experience, agriculture or consumer products experience preferred.

• Experience working with Tipalti and Ramp a plus.

• Proficient use of Excel, Word, Outlook and QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting software.

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and maintain high standards of accuracy with strong attention to detail as well as an investigative problem solver.

• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must have a stable employment history.
