Installation: Installing air conditioning systems, including setting up the unit and connecting the necessary electrical and piping components.
Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning air filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting wiring, and ensuring units operate efficiently.
Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing issues in air conditioning units, including electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, and mechanical failures.
Customer Service: Advising clients on proper air conditioner use and offering suggestions for energy efficiency and system upgrades.
Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols, ensuring proper disposal of refrigerants, and handling electrical components safely.

Educational Requirement:
At least a high school diploma or completion of technical/vocational courses in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Certification from accredited institutions, such as TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority), is highly preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair cooling systems.
Familiarity with refrigerants and the use of various hand tools and equipment.
Work Experience:
Some experience in air conditioning installation and maintenance is often required.
Licensing:
A TESDA certificate or equivalent is needed to work legally as an air conditioning technician in the Philippines.
