The Cold Caller / Appointment Setter is responsible for generating leads, making outbound calls to potential clients, and scheduling appointments for the sales team.
This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to handle objections professionally. While experience in the publishing industry is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented, persuasive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce products/services.
Qualify leads and set-up appointments for the sales team.
Maintain and update records of calls, leads, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
Overcome objections and effectively communicate the value of the company's offerings.
Meet or exceed daily and weekly call and appointment targets.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.

Ability to drive a conversation and turn cold leads to warm leads.
At least college level with 1 year experience.
