JOB PURPOSE
The Brokerage Staff is responsible for the checking, preparation, and completion of all customs documents necessary for the filing of import/export declarations. 
May also be assigned to apply for import permits as required by various government institutions.
- Checking and monitoring arrival of shipments
 - Inquire and requisition of Demurrage, Storage and Billing Charges
 - Inquire and compute for Warehousing Charges
 - Prepare file for Job reference for accounting purposes
 - Classify imported commodities based on the given specification
 - Compute correct duties and taxes and other charges in accordance with the existing customs and tariff law, rules and regulations
 - Send computation of duties and taxes to Sales / Consignee
 - Prepare and checking accuracy of shipping documents of entries for filing at BOC
 - Checks correctness and completeness of pre alert documents
 - Request cash advances for THC, container deposit, storage, demurrage and other billing charges
 - Preparation of documents and payments for the requisition of Container Release Order to the Shipping Lines
 - Making conforme for consumption shipments for accounting purposes
 - Lodgment of import entries & import permits
 - Coordinate status to messenger, processors and consignee
 - Monitor process of entries until gate pass is secured
 - Updating of shipment status in the system
 - To perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Education:
