The Reports Analyst at Pinnacle Intelligence is a crucial role responsible for transforming raw operational data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, improve performance, and support strategic decision-making across our BPO operations. This role will heavily leverage the Microsoft Power Platform to develop, maintain, and enhance dynamic reports, dashboards, and automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report & Dashboard Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and operational metrics.
- Create custom data models and calculations within Power BI to support advanced analytics requirements.
- Ensure reports are intuitive, accurate, and provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
2. Data Analysis & Interpretation:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (e.g., CRM systems, client platforms, databases) to prepare it for analysis and reporting.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify root causes, performance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly and concisely.
3. Microsoft Power Platform Solutions:
- Develop and optimize automated workflows and processes using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline data collection, report generation, and operational tasks.
- Design and implement simple custom applications or forms using Microsoft Power Apps to enhance data capture or improve operational efficiency as needed.
- Explore and implement other components of the Microsoft Power Platform to drive innovation in reporting and data management.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate closely with Operations and department heads to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Gather detailed requirements for new reports, dashboards, and automated tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize reports and dashboards.
5. Data Quality & Governance:
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data used for reporting and analysis.
- Implement data validation processes and best practices to maintain high data quality standards.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and report specifications to ensure transparency and maintainability.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Reports Analyst role, preferably within a BPO environment.
- Microsoft Power Platform Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps
- Data Analysis & Manipulation: Proven ability to extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
- SQL Proficiency: Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, draw insights, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring data accuracy, report precision, and adherence to requirements.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with other reporting tools is a plus.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with other programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
- Prior experience supporting clients or operations within the automotive retail industry.
