Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure product quality, and secure new products.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the product offerings meet quality expectations, enhance user experience, and foster customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in merchandising, buying, or purchasing within e-commerce or retail environments.
Experience managing online product ranges, categories, or categories relevant to the retailer.
Capable to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences.
Proficiency in using analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or specialized retail analytics platforms).
Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
Understanding of customer needs and shopping behaviors.
Ability to select and optimize product assortments based on customer insights.
Ability to negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and product teams.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Astro, etc.) and inventory/sales management systems.
A degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields is often preferred.
