Checker is responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality in inventory, shipments, and related warehouse operations. They verify incoming and outgoing goods, perform inspections for damage or discrepancy, maintain records, and assist with inventory control. 

• Check and inspect incoming goods/materials vs. purchase orders, delivery receipts, or other documents for accuracy
• Count items physically at “check in” and “check out”, ensure shipments leaving the warehouse are correct.
• Examine condition of items for damage, defects, or non-conformance (packaging, quality).
• Maintain accurate records of what was received, what was shipped, inventory counts, discrepancies, and damaged goods
• Compare product labels, tags, and certificates (if applicable) to verify correctness.
• Participate in periodic stock-taking / inventory audits.
• Ensure warehousing / storage best practices: proper storage, following FIFO (First-In–First-Out), maintaining organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Educational level: often High School graduate, some require some college or vocational / technical training.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar operational environment is preferred; in some cases, fresh graduates may be accepted.
• Computer literacy: Ability to use basic tools (Excel, inventory software, handheld scanners) to record/check data.
• Attention to detail: must be accurate, observant, able to catch discrepancies, damage, etc.
• Physical fitness: ability to stand, walk, bend, sometimes lift items; work in warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills: to report issues, coordinate with other staff.
