- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Plan and create menu items, considering dietary restrictions.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience: 3-5 years in a professional kitchen, specializing in Asian cuisine
- Skills: Excellent cooking ability, strong kitchen hygiene knowledge, effective written and verbal communication, attention to detail, capable of heavy lifting, exceptional customer service orientation
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment, may require long hours, standing for extended periods
- Qualities: Creative, organized, team player, able to work under pressure
