Position Summary
The Communications Associate supports the Communications Strategies team in developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies in support of specific communication solutions needs, and to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission.
Functional Responsibilities
- Works closely with the CommStrat team to plan and execute internal and external communications initiatives
- Supports the Communications leaders in handling change management communications and crisis communications
- Develops content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message
- Builds and maintains solid partnerships with assigned internal and external stakeholders to better develop, coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals
- Designs recruitment, engagement, or brand awareness campaigns to target specific audiences using data gathered from the different stakeholders and industry studies, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance
- Manages internal communication channels and creates content, campaigns and reports for internal and PR projects

Education
Graduate in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related careers
Work Experience
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a local or multinational company as part of a team focused on strategic communications planning and execution, preferably from an advertising agency or a company’s brand/marketing team
- Experience with both PR and internal communications is preferred
Technical Skills
- Knowledge on internal communications, strategic communication management, project management, brand systems, creative visioning;
- Knowledge on using and managing content management systems and internal communication channels
- Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation skills;
- Strong English writing skills (creative and business writing);
- Some experience when it comes to crisis comms, awards writing, communications report analytics, and executive comms an advantage but not required
- Experience with PR and media management (optional)
- Project management, presentation and facilitation skills, effective meeting management.
