A. DAILY:

1. Check, monitor and supervise project site activities.
2. Coordinate with clients’ inspectors on project implementation and other required activities.
3. Input daily activity report/construction log book.
4. Facilitate request of materials and monitor its delivery for project site use.
5. Facilitate Request for Approval (RFA) and Request for Information (RFI) for implementation in the project site.
6. Plan activities to prioritize based on project schedule.
7. Monitor weather conditions that might affect the operation.
8. Coordinate with project in charge with regards to schedule and daily progressive activity.
9. Meet and provide instructions to foreman regarding the site activities.

B. WEEKLY:

1. Prepare weekly coordination meeting report.
2. Walk-through meeting with clients and inspectors for project site progress and other issues.
3. Plan activities for the week.
4. Evaluate and review accomplishment billing reports of the subcontractors.

C. MONTHLY:

1. Prepare and submit progress billing report and the required support documents to clients.
2. Update and prepare project progress report.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare tender documents, estimates, contracts, budgets, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), change orders, and progress billing.
2. Attend bidding conferences, reconcile bids, conduct site visits.
3. Review building construction plans and prepare quantity requirements, estimates or take-offs, and cost of materials.
4. Gather material prices for costing.
5. Look for suppliers and contractors for quotation and evaluation.
6. Prepare budgetary cost and cost control of assigned projects.
7. Prepare project schedule.
8. Prepare bill of materials to purchase.
9. Ensure that building projects remain within budget.
10. Assign and review other QS personnel’s work output.
11. Interview prospective suppliers and contractors.
12. Review, negotiate, and award new projects to contractors.
13. Review contractors’ progress billing.

Education : Mechanical Engineering Graduate

With PRC License

Experience : At least 5 to 10 years work experience
