KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
I. DELIVERY OPERATIONS
- Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all goods are properly secured and remain safe while in transit.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of products to ensure accurate and careful handling as needed.
- Verify that the delivery vehicle is completely empty and all items are accounted for before leaving the delivery area.
- Notify and provide regular updates to the logistics coordinator and dispatcher regarding delivery status and any unfulfilled deliveries.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules as instructed by the coordinator/immediate superior or notes in the documents.
- Address and resolve delivery-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Assist the Delivery Helper if needed in loading and unloading activities.
II. VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY
- Clean the vehicle regularly to maintain hygiene, good appearance, and safe operation.
- Strictly comply with all road traffic rules and safety regulations.
- Bring the vehicle to the repair shop as required or when scheduled for preventive maintenance service (PMS).
- Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle both inside and outside company premises, before and after trips.
- Report any vehicle-related issues or concerns promptly to the immediate superior.
- Perform emission cleaning of the muffler at recommended intervals to maintain efficiency and comply with environmental standards.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each trip (tires, lights, brakes, oil, coolant, fuel, etc.).
III. EMPLOYEE SHUTTLE SERVICE
- Provide employee shuttle and transportation services as required by the company.
- Ensure safe and timely transport of employees to designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the shuttle vehicle always.
- Assist employees with boarding, unloading, and transport-related concerns when necessary.
IV. OTHERS
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by his immediate superior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- At least High School Graduate (Senior High School or equivalent) Vocational or technical training in automotive servicing, defensive driving, or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years professional driving experience (company delivery driver of aluminum closed van).
- Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License (with appropriate restriction codes).
- Familiarity with Metro Manila routes, alternate routes, and major expressways.
- Knowledge of operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles such as van & light trucks.
- Good communication with clients, and co-workers
- Willing to render OT as needed.
