Navigation: Providing directions or using GPS to guide the driver to delivery locations.
Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with daily tasks, ensure quality control, and maintain organized workspaces.
Package Handling: Carrying items from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location, sometimes requiring heavy lifting.
Verification: Checking items against delivery manifests and obtaining customer signatures or other forms of acknowledgment.
Customer Service: Interacting with customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and delivery, including proper lifting techniques and handling of potentially hazardous materials.
Record Keeping: Assisting with documentation, such as delivery manifests, receipts, and payment collection.
Vehicle Maintenance: Helping with basic tasks like cleaning the vehicle and reporting any maintenance issues.
