Maintains and improves patients’ oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses such as complete and partial dentures, orthodontic appliances and veneers, according to dentist prescriptions.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Constructs prostheses by following the dentists prescriptions
• Make models of the teeth from impressions.
• Build up wax replica of part or all of the mouth and or teeth on the model
• Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal)
• Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns and bridges.
• Do proper fabrication of casts, crowns (PFM, emax, zirconia) dentures
• Produce prosthesis with proper anatomy according to tooth morphology.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least a high school graduate but preferably a graduate of Dental Technology
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Dental technician
• Manual dexterity
• Procedural skills
• Attention to detail
