We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous delivery. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure DevOps solutions across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure and/or GCP
Work with tools like Akamai, Azure APIM, and AKS to ensure high availability and performance
Deploy and manage applications on Linux/UNIX systems following best practices
Collaborate with development teams to integrate and support RESTful APIs
Administer relational and NoSQL databases
Implement and support private cloud, IaaS, and PaaS operating models
Ensure continuous integration and delivery processes are efficient and reliable
Take ownership of features from design to production deployment
Promote and implement DevOps best practices across teams
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud services (Azure and/or GCP)
Hands-on experience with Akamai, Azure APIM, AKS
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Strong background in Linux/UNIX systems
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs
Knowledge of private cloud, IaaS, and PaaS models
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lead features from conception to production
Commitment to operational excellence and DevOps best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with scripting and automation tools: PowerShell, Perl, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, JSON, Python
Solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V preferred)
