Driving: Safely operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over long distances and across multiple states
Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading cargo, and securing it
Route planning: Planning routes using maps or satellite tracking
Vehicle maintenance: Performing basic vehicle maintenance, and reporting serious mechanical problems
Paperwork: Completing and verifying paperwork, and keeping a log of activities
Safety: Following all traffic laws, and taking special precautions while driving
Communication: Reporting incidents to a dispatcher, and following accident procedures
Responsibilities and Duties: Transportation of goods, routine vehicle checks, and compliance with safety regulations.

Educational Qualifications: No specific degree required; equivalent experience is acceptable.
Experience Level: Less than 1 year of driving experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies: Proficient in vehicle maintenance, safe driving, and trailer handling.
Working Conditions: Varied environments, including highways and urban areas, long hours possible.
