• Electrical design leadership: Lead the electrical design for solar PV systems, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), grounding systems, protection schemes, and SCADA integration.
• Technical analysis: Conduct and review load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using software like ETAP or PowerFactory.
• Project management: Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure designs are compliant with project requirements, industry standards, and local codes like the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
• Construction support: Provide technical guidance to construction teams, perform site inspections, and help resolve field issues.
• Commissioning and testing: Oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities to ensure all work meets specifications and regulatory codes.
• Procurement support: Evaluate technical specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) to assist with the procurement of electrical equipment such as inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Stakeholder coordination: Liaise with utilities, grid operators, regulatory bodies, and internal teams (like project managers, procurement, and construction) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Documentation: Prepare, review, and approve project documentation, including design drawings, engineering reports, and inspection checklists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the power sector, with specific experience in solar projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
