Feed and water animals according to schedules and dietary requirements
Clean and disinfect animal pens, barns, cages, and equipment
Assist with breeding, birthing, and weaning processes
Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior and report to supervisors or veterinarians
Administer medications or vaccinations as directed
Milk animals (if applicable), collect eggs, or assist with shearing
Help move or herd animals between pens, pastures, or transport vehicles
Maintain records of feeding, breeding, and health treatments
Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools safely
Perform general farm maintenance, such as repairing fences, cleaning water troughs, and maintaining shelters

Experience with specific types of livestock (e.g., dairy cows, poultry, pigs)
Knowledge of safe handling techniques for animals
Basic veterinary knowledge or first aid for animals (a plus)
Physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if required
Basic understanding of animal behavior and care
Responsible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
