Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to move, locate, load, and unload products or materials within our warehouse or job site. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts, adheres to safety protocols, and ensures efficient handling of inventory and goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials safely.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
• Stack and organize products in designated storage areas.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Assist in inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock movement as required.
• Ensure proper labeling, wrapping, and securing of loads.
• Follow all warehouse procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand loading instructions, safety rules, and operating manuals.
• Good physical condition – able to lift up to [50 lbs/23 kg] and work in various conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with logistics, shipping, or receiving processes.
• Ability to operate multiple types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, clamp truck).

Work Environment:

• Warehouse, dock, or outdoor storage yard.
• Exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
