- Can perform hair- related service like cutting, styling, coloring and treating hair and scalp for client to meet their preferences and hair type
- A high school diploma
- Professional experience
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, desired styles or treatments.
- Perform haircuts, trimming, coloring, highlighting, permanent waving / curling, straightening, and other styling services.
- Provide hair and scalp treatments (e.g. deep conditioning, keratin treatment, and hair repair treatments) as needed.
- Shampoo, blow-dry, iron, style hair according to client’s request and salon standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, workstation, and salon environment.
- Ensure proper use, preparation, and safekeeping of all hair dressing materials, tools, and supplies.
- Stay updated on latest hair styles, coloring, trends, and techniques; continuously improve professional skills.
- Advise clients on hair care products, after-treatment care, and maintenance to preserve style/health of hair.
- Recommend additional services or upsell products when appropriate, maintaining client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
