We are looking for an Industrial Engineer. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring operational excellence within our packaging manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will analyze workflows, implement process improvements, and collaborate with different departments to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and resource planning to optimize production output.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in production.
• Analyze data on material usage, labor efficiency, and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, quality control, and procurement teams to streamline operations.
• Assist in facility layout planning to maximize space utilization and improve workflow.
• Identify and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to minimize waste and increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all engineering processes.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment upgrades, automation, or process modifications.
• Prepare and present reports on efficiency metrics, cost savings, and performance improvements to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or process improvement, preferably in the packaging, FMCG, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, and industrial engineering principles.
• Experience in conducting work studies, time and motion analysis, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
