Key Responsibilities:
For Cooks/Line Cooks/Prep Cooks:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure that food is prepared in a timely and high-quality manner.
Maintain a clean and organized cooking station, ensuring that all kitchen tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safe handling of food and compliance with health regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management by reporting shortages or expired items.
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed on time and correctly.
Follow all recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation standards.
Clean cooking equipment, utensils, and cooking stations regularly.
Handle kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, stoves, and grills.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when following recipes and maintaining food quality.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
