POSITION TITLE: Logistics Specialist - Global Freight

WORK LOCATION: Ortigas Center, Pasig City

WORK SETUP: Full-Time, Onsite

COMPANY: Global Shared Services – Logistics Industry


JOB SUMMARY:

The Logistics Specialist – Global Freight is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of logistics operations in compliance with customer and vendor requirements. This role supports global freight documentation, coordination, and service delivery activities to ensure smooth cargo movement and exceptional customer satisfaction. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global shared services environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure and monitor that customers’ requirements are properly documented, verified, and recorded in the Logistics Procedure (LP) and Account Matrix Profile in compliance with both customer and vendor standards.
  • Ensure vendor documents are delivered to customers in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors to address inaccurate or incomplete documentation that could impact cargo delivery.
  • Execute and strictly adhere to customers’ service and documentation instructions as outlined in the LPs.
  • Handle problem resolution by addressing issues promptly and escalating to Supervisors if there is potential cost or service impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure service consistency and retention.
  • Identify service gaps, recommend improvements, and implement process enhancements to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely customer reports and related documentation.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in global freight logistics, supply chain operations, or related logistics functions.
  • Strong understanding of freight documentation, shipping procedures, and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven listening, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a global, matrixed team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience in logistics systems or SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and positive attitude.
