- Analyze material requirements for production processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate material databases.
- Optimize material usage to reduce waste and costs.
- Assist in forecasting material needs based on production schedules.
- Implement and improve materials management systems.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of relevant experience in materials engineering or similar roles.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in reading blueprints, strong project development skills, and solid understanding of materials selection.
- Working Conditions: Typically in an office environment with occasional fieldwork.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and proactive attitude.
