The Cadet Engineer will work under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor to gain experience in investigations, design, project management, construction and maintenance, operations, and other activities associated with the provisions of engineering services in Alphaland Balesin Island Club.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performing routine and emergency maintenance on vehicles, equipment, and plant yard
• Submitting reports on motor pool matters to the motor pool supervisor
• Ensuring that vehicles and equipment are registered periodically
• Maintaining records of repairs and maintenance schedules
• Providing safe driver training to motor pool chauffeurs and incidental drivers
• Initiating the preparation of procurement of parts such as maintenance, repair, and vehicle rentals
• Directing and participating in the inventory and control of vehicles and equipment
• Monitoring budget and expenditures, and preparing budget estimates
• Creating engineering drawings and technical reports as needed
• Creating engineering drawings and technical reports as needed
• Creating documentation and training materials
• Reporting to Senior Leadership on key learnings, analysis, observations, and recommendations
• Perform other tasks not mentioned herein

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Computer literate using Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word), MS Project, AutoCAD and other applicable software
• Mandatory skills in photo editing, statistical, ERP, and reporting software a plus
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures

REQUIREMENT

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering or related course
• Must be a Licensed/Registered Mechanical Engineer or related course
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and strong numerical ability
• Interfacing with external suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings AutoCAD proficiency preferred
• Have leadership ability, intellectual curiosity, and academic performance
• Willing to relocate to Polillo, Quezon Province
