Key Responsibilities:

• Perform metal fabrication and sheet-metal work (tinsmithing) — cutting, bending, shaping metal sheets, panels.
• Perform welding work (various types of welding relevant to fabrication and repair).
• Apply paint and coatings to metal surfaces (prepare surfaces, apply primer/base/finish).
• Estimate materials required for jobs: metal sheets, consumables (welding rods/wire, paints/coatings), labour, and report cost estimates.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, alignment, finish, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade certificate preferred but not required (e.g., TESDA NC II in Tinsmithing, Welding or related)
• Proven experience (at least 1-2 years) in welding, metal sheet fabrication/tinsmithing, painting/coating work.
• Ability to read drawings/measurement, calculate materials, provide estimates.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills, responsible and reliable.
• Willing to work on-site (if applicable) and at heights or in metal-fabrication environment if required.

Preferred:

• Experience in both fabrication and finishing (paint/coat).
• Ability to handle estimation of material costs and lead time.
